~ I AM CURRENTLY NOT TAKING ANY NEW CUSTOM ORDERS. THANKS! ~
A custom monsterami typically takes 6-8 weeks to produce, depending on how many orders I have in queue. Pricing starts at $100 and goes up depending on size, amount of detail, or special supplies that need to be purchased. (A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price is required when I start making your custom monsterami, and the rest is payable upon completion. )
A custom monsterami makes a great gift. When you order a custom monsterami, you get to name it and give it a personality. This makes it a more personal gift for someone on their special occasion.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in having a custom monsterami made. Tell me your ideas and we can collaborate on a design. If you have something specific in mind, please include pictures in your email.
Here are some examples of custom monsteramis I have made:
This monsterami was a gift for a friend who had just bought a new Ducati motorcycle. I patterned his jacket after a real Ducati jacket design and even crocheted a removable helmet.
My friend Danny asked me to make a Hello Kitty Hannibal Lecter to match his tattoo…
I made this for my foodie group, Gastronomics Anonymous. He’s the Gastro Gnome!! He presides over all of our foodie dinners.
What do you give the man who has everything for his birthday? A custom monsterami!!
From the Japanese anime “Azumanga Daioh,” Chiyo-chan and the biting cat Kamineko.
I had a lot of fun making these sister monsteramis. I even copied their high top sneakers!
This monsterami was a gift for the requester’s boyfriend, who always wears a fedora, glasses and a white shirt.
This monsterami was made for a special little girl. The requester wanted the monsterami to look like this pic.
These two monsteramis were a gift for the requester’s dad, who had two imaginary friends when he was growing up, named Pomp and Streak.
This monsterami looks like my brother-in-law. I made sure to copy the mole above his eyebrow and his crooked smile.
This monsterami was requested by someone who was about to go on a trip to Columbia and wanted a travel buddy for his trip. He has a little backpack to carry his passport and wallet in.
Deadmau5. Enough said.
This was a gift for a baby shower. The colors match the baby’s nursery.
This was a gift for the requester’s brother, whose wife is expecting a baby. They nicknamed the fetus “Garbanzo” and the expectant parents live in Bermuda, so the requester wanted it to have a island-y feel.
These were gifts for the requester’s daughter and son-in-law. Her daughter is a hairstylist and her son-in-law is a chef. The requestor had a tiny curling iron and comb that she put in the hairstylist monsterami’s pockets, and she sewed a hairdryer to the monsterami’s hand.
The details of the black smock can be seen better in this pic, as well as the fake eyelashes that give the monsterami a more feminine look.
This was a gift for the requester’s friend who just opened a coffee shop in Mexico. The name of the coffee shop is Ojala. He is holding a crocheted cup of coffee in his hand.
This was a Valentine’s Day present for the requester’s boyfriend. Her boyfriend loves superheroes so she wanted a superhero monsterami wearing a cape. I added the heart on his butt to make it more personal.
My friend dressed up as Jack for Halloween so I made a Jack monsterami for him.
